 We've posted fairly complete instructions for setting up a USB connection between a current HAPPY HCS 12-needle , HCD 15-needle, or HCR multi-head embroidery machine.  The instructions are in PDF.  The instructions are specific for the color monitor version of Happy HCS-1201 Voyager, but the steps for HCD-1501 and HCR multi-head machines are very similar.  Separate PDF files will eventually be released for  these as well, but in the meantime, this PDF file is a useful guide for all of the updates.  Note: This procedure works with Happylink versions 3.07 and newer.

Click on the icon on the right download a ZIP file containing the  install files for HAPPYLINK 3.09  and LAN 1.09.  Important update: HappyLink can now access design files on networked directories!  Technical info: The update includes the ability to browse mapped drives, plus necessary scripting to maintain continuous drive access (no time-outs) during transfers.  See included PDF instructions.

Click on the icon on the right download a ZIP file containing the  install files for HAPPYLINK 3.08  and LAN 1.08.  Important updates include improvements for the HAPPYLAN program that addresses past error messages.  Also, the improved installation program installs more smoothly than Happylink 3.07 install below without the need to run the install program in Administrator mode for Windows 64-bit PC's.

Click on the icon on the right download a ZIP file containing the  install files for HAPPYLINK 3.07  and LAN 1.07.  The Happylink program includes a  new "USB COM" setting for 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and XP. This program is necessary for USB connections between HAPPY HCS, HCD and HCR machines and 64-bit Vista and/or XP.

USB 32-Bit Drivers

 HAPPY USB Drivers for 32-Bit Versions of Windows (except Windows 98)   
These drivers will work on 32-bit versions of Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 7.  Be sure to check your PC to see if your version of Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit.

 
USB 64-bit drivers

 HAPPY USB Drivers for  64-Bit Versions of WIndows  
If you are setting up a USB connection between your HAPPY HCS, HCD or HCR machine and a PC with 64-bit versions Windows 7, and 64-bit versions Windows Vista 64.  (there is actually a 64-bit version of Win XP, too.).  Please check carefully to see if your version of Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit.


Windows 98 Drivers 

Windows 64-Bit drivers (for 64-bit XP or 64-bit Vista) (tested also on Windows 7)
If you are setting up a USB connection between your HAPPY HCS, HCD or HCR machine and a PC with Windows Vista 64  or XP 64, use the drivers shown on the right.
